Ø  Ms. B. Vasanthi –Assistant Professor  & Head, have actively participated in Faculty Development Programme (Funded by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India), conducted by NPTEL-AICTE on 27th April 2019.
Ø  Ms. N. Karpagam -Assistant Professor have actively participated in Faculty Development Programme (Funded by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India), conducted by NPTEL-AICTE on 27th and 28th April 2019.
Ø  Ms. B. Vasanthi –Assistant Professor & Head awarded for successfully completing the course “Financial Statement Analysis and Reporting” with ELITE conducted by NPTEL. The duration of the course -12 Weeks.
Ø  Ms. N. Karpagam -Assistant Professor awarded for successfully completing the course “Financial Statement Analysis and Reporting” with ELITE conducted by NPTEL. The duration of the course -12 Weeks.
Ø  Ms. N. Karpagam -Assistant Professor awarded for successfully completing the course “Introduction to Research” conducted by NPTEL. The duration of the course -8 Weeks.
Ø  From 18th May 2019 to 30th May 2019, the following faculties were acted as an Examiner in Central paper Valuation (UG Board - COMMERCE) for Apr/May 2019 Examinations by Thriruvalluvar University at Islamiah College (Autonomous), Newtown, Vaniyambadi.

Students Performance:

Ø  Students from PG Department of Commerce has actively participated in Yoga Day Celebration on 21st June 2019.
Ø  Ms. Preethi from III B.Com secured 100 Marks in “Cost Accounting – II” in  University Examination.


Department Activities:

Ø  PG Department of Commerce formed “Commerce Resource Centre” for NAAC Visit purpose along with PG Departments of Commerce (CA) and Business Administration.
Ø  II M.Com Students (PG Batch 2017-2019) produced 100% results in Thiruvalluvar University Examinations Apr/May 2019.
Ø  III B.Com Students (UG Batch 2016-2019) produced 79% results in Thiruvalluvar University Examinations Apr/May 2019.
Ø  Arranged “Bank Training Programme” for Final Year UG and PG Students during the month of June 2019.
